Here is tonght's walk report for anyone who still cares. Lol
We made it about 15 minutes. We avoided getting too close to people, but we did let him stop and look at some kids that were playing. He acted like a dog who has never been on a leash before. Everytime he pulled I stopped and he always came back to me. When he did that, I made him sit, clicked, and gave him a treat.
The only real problem we had was when the ice cream man passed by on his bike. The guy avoided him but Franklin tried to lunge. Luckily, I had my daughter with me, and between the two of us, he didn't make it very far.
Now, maybe I don't understand, but if the goal is to get him used to people, shouldn't I not be avoiding people?
