Jones and Marneo are two of my older favorites. Newer favorites without a doubt are Firehorse Dorian and Italica's Fifty Shades of Grey!
I agree but I might be a little bias having met them, well all but Jones

LOL He chilled all right - chilled while munching on your box!!
You have eyes I think. Just talk with people , not those that want to sell you pups but with people that made history of the breed. I talked with people that made the ''recover'' of the breed , and as said many times already they used the Boxer to fasten the process of creating a type for a breed that wasn't a proper ''selling item'' let's say like this. By the way I didn't say you said that Zar is the most important specimen,I just gave my opinion about those dogs that you posted. In USA people don't know cane corso now think 20 years ago, just watch the differences between the It. Ch. of first 90' and then the 00' dogs. I think it's easily visible. And by the way 2nd part: The fill your niche, but not the race one Just to be less rude and maybe try to learn from who knows more than youI saw it mentioned earlier in the thread that Boxer was added to certain Corso lines. Can anyone cite their sources of that information for the sake of research? E1kpo I don't remember ever hearing that Zar is regarded as one of the most important or influential dogs in the breed. I'll go on to say that I don't feel the need to justify why I prefer that type of dog myself but I do think they fill a niche, just perhaps not yours.
Here people know the facts..Many people do..Infact,they are mixing those dogs with M.N. , you'll see how many champions will be 60 kg+ with heavier bones and level biteGood luck with any cited sources, there are however lots of rumors and behind the hands chatter. What part you believe depends on who's kool-aid you want to drink. Without being there for sure no one knows what was added where but there are those that always swear they have pure lines or know someone that does. At this point the reality is we get to deal with what is right in front of our own eyes and move forward from there.

Ahahahaah you want tangible proofs?
You said it yourself 1800,I'm talking about changes made in a generation, not one hundred yearsYes. I do prefer demonstrable evidence to hearsay. You posted a picture of Cheno as proof that Boxers were crossed in to the breed to create that type of dog. As we know, the Boxer of the 1800s strongly resembled many modern Corsi. If they can change as dramatically only through selective breeding, then the Corso can surely do the same?
