Most valuable chew toy

What‘s your dog‘s most valuable and entertaining chew toy? We find it hard to keep him busy for longer than 10-15 minute periods. The tasty bone that @Boxergirl recommneded works pretty well so far, but that‘s pretty much it.

The only thing that lasts longer than about 10 minutes are elk antlers since I don't want to give femer bones. A stuffed hood is a favorite treat but given how bad they smell they only get them rarely.

Thanks. We have been using them, as well. They are relatively pricy here, and people keep telling me how they would break a dog‘s teeth etc.
Regardless, they have kept him busy for quite a while. Other than that, the 12in bully sticks, which are also somewhat expensive.

We bought some basted cow bones from amazon for our dogs. I thought they would last a bit longer but within a day they are gone. Gus is losing teeth pretty regular now. He just lost his lower canine yesterday. I honestly think cow ears are my dogs favorites though. We bought the Kong ball, no interest, he didn’t take to the bully stick that much either.

I would get a vet to check his teeth ………. I give my dogs nothing but bones to chew on , I've had as many as 8 dogs at one time , vet bills could be financially devastating , been my experience and long held belief , bones are safe ……….. not much else is ……..

If you are referring to Gus, he’s good, it was a puppy tooth, he has been losing a lot lately.

The only toy that I have found that last more then 2 months is a horse jolly ball.... the real jolly ball...not the ones they make for dogs....the horse ball is rubber. The dogs jolly ball is made of hard plastic, it has no give to it..... Bella loves playing with it and loves chewing on it as well.

I need to get one of those. Logan plays with a volleyball. I bet he would love the jolly ball...
Bella looks great!! She is in excellent condition

Thanks April....I do try to feed her well with very little junk food....but the week she was with grandpa is show by way of her shedding.....I do know grandpa would have fed Bella what ever he was eating.... even vanilla ice cream nightly. lol
After her being home for about 3 or 4 days I noticed she was shedding to the extreme for her....it really does prove to me about how bad grains and other human junk foods can effect a dogs health.

Any additional toy recommendations for a 200+lbs puppy? Stuffed animals are easily destroyed and not safe at this point. The Tasty Bones are still a good alternative, but we would like to add some variety.

Yep, horse Jolly Ball is worth the price. It can take Mastiff-Sized abuse. I'd lay odds the farm dogs try to steal it from the horses. I hear nothing but good reports about them.

Man, that's a loaded question, it's hard to find anything that keeps her busy for longer than 15 minutes. :p

The dog chew ring by goughnuts will last you for ever our dog Bruno goes through toys like water this is the only one he hasn’t been able to destroy or even make a dent. And it’s just rubber looks just like the day we got it.
