It's been a while since I've posted anything on here and though you'd like an update. Bruce is coming up on 11 months already! The time has flown. For a bullmastiff he's very different from our first one and quite a handful. He is the happiest dog I've ever seen. He is very active and loves to run and play, he'll even play fetch. He's also very naturally protective and quite vocal about it. He's still learning not to pull me around when he's on a leash and has pulled me of my feet a couple of times. He goes to day camp once a week to play with his puppy friends and get some extra training, it gives us a night of peace because he's always exhausted from it. There is a great dane a few houses down who came for a play date not long ago, he had so much fun, I'll have to get him over again soon.
Camping season has started and he loves camping! He loves to help gather fire wood, run around and check out all the new sights and smells and sleep in the trailer.
He is super smart and you can't let him see you do anything or else he'll figure it out and decide it's his, like getting in the garden, opening bins and boxes. His mind is always going.
Here are some updated pictures of him.

Jakesmum! I'm so glad to see a update from you. What a big, beautiful boy Bruce is! It's probably a good thing his temperament is different that Jake's, isn't it? It also keeps you on your toes! Please stop by more often.

Thank you Boxergirl. I'm always checking on things here but need to post more. Bruce is quite a character and has helped heal our hearts after losing Jake.

Thank you Nik! He is such a character! I had to warn my mom not to open her front door in front of him or she'll never keep him out of her house! She has a door handle that is straight and just pushes down to open the door, and he was already mouthing it trying to figure it out.
