Drool and the EM

I absolutely love my dog and we knew when we got him that we were going to have lots of drool with the English Mastiff breed. Just wondering, but when you take them out in public, do you carry a rag with you or just let them drool away ? I noticed some people get freaked out when they see the long goobers hanging from his mouth or some just don't mind. I always try to wipe them when I can.

Depends on where we go.. if I take mine out in public where they will get lots of human attention, for socializing purposes, then yes.. like Petsmart for instance.. but if I'm out walking them anywhere just to walk around, then no..

Mine really doesn't drool all that much unless eating or drinking. Sometimes if he has been out in the backyard. I usually bring a rag when we go out.

I love the drool. My wife, however, keeps baby wipes in her purse and wipes Miel's drool while in public.

We carry a small towel with us bit Zeus isn't drooling too crazy in public yet unless he gets super excited

I just let the slobber fly. My girl only seems to drool when she drinks. So it's no big deal for me to just let it dry. But it is gross sometimes when you get that big glob on your hands after she shows you some love.

Mamma has custom embroidered drool towels, nothin but the best for my drool factory!!! LOL

We always carry a hand towel with us for drool...depending on how long we'll be gone, we bring 2 or 3. I don't mind the drool because I knew what I was getting into when owning an EM, other people, however, didn't sign up for drool duty so I make sure to be respectful and bring a towel haha

Depends on where we are going and what the plans are for the day, but I usually have a rag at least in the vehicle that I can get if I need to.
