I'm so sorry I didn't see your message before now! What food did you decide on? I use the Fromm 4 Star formulas. All of the Fromm products are great. You don't need puppy food with a Mastiff.

i see you have experience with Fromm. I am about to get a puppy soon and wanted to ask you for an opinion. I started out thinking i need to buy Large breed specific formula either eagle pack or Fromm. Then the more i read the more i see people advising against large breed puppy food in order to prevent growth/bone issues. I thought the whole idea of large/giant breed puppy food was to prevent those health issues.

Anyway now i wanted to see what you suggest, In my area i can get Fromm large breed adult formula and reg gold adult. Which one do you suggest as they appear VERY similar in nutrition value. And do you suggest staying away from puppy formula all together and just doing adult food right at 8 weeks?
