Ruby has undergone a name change. Her new AKC registered name will appear as: CHAMPION Gems Ruby Begonia on Topp, CGC, THD. YAY!!
Now we're going to chase some Rally titles.
Her breeder has always said a well balanced dog has letters before and after her name; Ruby finally qualifies.

Thank you, AB. I'm really more relieved than anything else. Titling a dog like Ruby is difficult at best. I'm just glad we're done chasing that last major show. Now it's all on me, getting some rally titles on her.
I'm thinking of getting Sunny started in rally too. WTH am I thinking?!?

Ruby is the first in line. See those legs? Makes my heart hurt, since the rest of her is so beautiful. Truth be told...although the AKC standards for bullmastiffs are not interested in the rear legs, I don't think she should have been shown. I don't think she's a good representation of the breed. I'm just glad it's over, now it's on to health clearances. They're still considering breeding her. *sigh*
