Should I even bother??

This little guy is available on Craigslist in my area, should I even try to contact them or am I just in love with the picture and should leave well enough alone? I've been thinking about getting a buddy for Zoey and he was just posted tonight. Thoughts everyone?

I've never bought from a breeder for dogs, so I've never been good at the whole planning stage for acquiring dogs. I tend to take in the animal first and put a 2-3 week time limit on my decision to keep it or rehome it personally. But, then, I've never rehomed one.

I'd say, go for it! You can always change your mind, if the pup isn't what they are showing on Craigslist.

Well I emailed them and he is already removed from CL, so either he was snatched up awful quick or never really existed.

Don't buy from sites like craigslist, they are havens for backyard breeders and dog thieves. I'm sorry to be preachy but it's true.

You know, something similar happened to me when I called to inquire at a shelter about a dog I'd seen online scheduled to be put down. It had just been adopted.

Y'know what I did? Went out that day to the local humane society and got this...
