We had a busy summer so here are a few updated pictures... not all of the dogs are there but a few of them are.

Thanks! It was a great summer to spend some time at the beach, although Neytiri was the only one down there this time since she is still a puppy and loves to go in the water.

Your beach picture made me think of an article where I saw a dog passed away from salt water poisoning. I never even realized that was a thing before the article. I've had mine at the beach before and he ingested enough salt water to get diarrhea but luckily that was the only thing.

I am cautious as we have had a male with sodium poisoning and it wasn't from a beach. We honestly don't know where it came from as it was January and he was crated when no adults home and there was nothing that he could have gotten with that high of a salt content. He pulled through but it was at least a month of excess fluids to flush him out and weekly blood draws to check levels.

Neytiri did drink some but we hose them down when they come in to ensure there isn't any on their coat and I make sure she gets several bowls of fresh water the rest of the day to ensure her system is flushing.
