So my 4 year old CC has started a new behavior. We recently moved to Louisiana and since then I’ve began to notice he paces. It starts in the am and goes on throughout the day off and on. Is that something I shld be worried about ? He’s never done it before. He was an inside dog for most of his life , then he went to the lanai /outside for a year , now he’s back inside. Google says he cld have anxiety :( but we all know how google is. Lol ....

It does sound like anxiety. Not sure what you mean by inside/outside living? I know my CC does not like change at all. You may want to have him checked by a vet, maybe something is bothering him. If only they could talk.

It does sound like anxiety. Maybe get several videos of the behavior? Well versed in dogs with severe anxiety issues in my house, lol.

Ok , thank you and when I say inside outside .. he went from living strictly inside the home to living permanently in the lanai area /outside bc we keep the screen door open to roam freely .

How much human interaction does he get with his current living situation? Is he ever allowed in the home now? A change like that could definitely elicit some anxiety issues if he was used to being in the home with the family. How long since you made the change?

Oh I think that you just answered your own questions. I would reconsider letting him live back inside the home.
