OK in a baby puppy class they are going to take it super easy on your puppy to start them on the right track but you will need the registration number for when you enter. A gentle show collar and lead. Good treats and lots of patience. Also pull up the standard and go through it, honestly looking at your dog and then comparing against the standard. There are some threads on here that have show pics on them to show what you should be expected to do in the ring although I think all the pics are of adults.
I looked up the standards and in my open everything match up. his coat length color and texture is great. He is filled out well has perfect angles and symmetrical face and shoulders. His tail is docked and healed his ears are the perfect angle.. I just need him to get used to random people coming up on him and get his stance right.
I suggest looking for local handling classes, most areas have drop in.
There you will get an idea of what will be expected for both you and your pup.
As far as the standard goes,research! Research! research!
FB has quite a few CC sites with threads about the standard.
So does the cane Corso international forum.
Also as said you will need AKC full registration papers, well his number to enter.
