    We decided to spruce things up and fix some things under the hood. If you notice any issues, feel free to contact us as we're sure there are a few things here or there that we might have missed in our upgrade.

1st Conformation Show Questions

Yay! How exciting!!!
Do not feed him before the show! You want him hungry for the bait.
Bring a chair, not sure if anyone mentioned that yet. Too bad about no benching.
We try to get there a couple hours before the show so the dogs aren't overwhelmed by the noise and action. That way by the time it is our turn they are chill with everything. That said I always have a benching area so the an chill in their crates.
@Mary are you showing CKC now? I am assuming that was a CFC judge, I have never heard of a CKC judge running so late.
There would be a whole lot of really angry dog people if that happened at a big show, and lords knows no one wants that!
But as said before just have FUN!

She was a European judge so probably not a CKC judge. We will be starting in the spring. The last show for our area is this weekend and we weren't prepared to enter right now so we are going to cheer on Jerry, George and Cleta. Then we will be starting in February when the shows start back up although I think the shows close to us don't start until March :(

It has happened at a CKC show here as well but they don't seem to worry about it too much, then again we have more than our share of show drama with the CKC in this area anyway.

LOL! It was a big oops and the ring steward was an ass but that is a whole other issue :) Just don't be late ;)

Oh bleh. I have to be there at 9:30, 8:45, and 9:45am on the respective days. AND he'll be the only TM on site which means I have to sit around till 2pm for the group ring, pretty much gauranteed. AND it looks like hubby will be working after all, so no support from him. His parents are going to show up at least one day though so I'll ask them to bring their camera and take a few photos!

It isn't so bad the waiting, you will meet ppl :)
