Won't be able to make it; bullmastiffs probably won't qualify :) But make sure you get some vids & post them; I'd love to see!

will do and i will get some video as well. We are bringing up a very strict but fair CAFIB judge from Czech Republic. He did a great job at another CAFIB show and I felt he would be the best choice. He speaks English well and makes sure that everyone has understood why each dog was evaluated the way it was.

I would like everyone to know that the CAFIB show is for everyone with a Fila...CAFIB, Non CAFIB or of unknown origins. AT the very least you will get a complete temperament test done on your dog with nervous system test and test of ojeriza so you know where your dog stands. if you have a dog w/o a pedigree that is fine too as NOBODY brings pedigrees! Bring your dog or pup and see what its flaws, faults or disqualifications are and see how far your dog can be pushed in case of a need for him to protect you. The temperament test is THE most important thing you can do for you and your fila...dont just guess what your dog will do, KNOW IT! The best thing is that it will be done by a very well known and respected judge that only deals with filas.

Lots of stories about filas but now you can see for yourself and talk from experience.

This is the hotel that I worked out a deal with. These are the only rooms available as there is a big deal going on in the surrounding towns (some natural gas drillings) most hotels are booked and their prices are inflated. Microtel is offering us these rooms at a discount. this rooms are usually $99 a night and a $25 a night pet fee is included. As you can see we are getting the rooms at $79 a night and the pet fee is a one time charge and not a daily charge for us. I have reserved 10 rooms under my name (Juan Hernandez) at this hotel so it is first come-first serve. There are 5 rooms reserved with a check in date of 6/14/2012 and 5 with a check in of 6/15/2012 all with a check out of 6/17/2012. When you call them up just mention my name and to get the group rate and modify the dates how you wish, you are good to go. All the rooms come with 2 queen size beds so bring the family.

Chuck, you can make it out to just the evals and the show, that is one day. The seminar is not mandatory but it is suggested that you attend as alot of information and thoughts will go around.

Duetsche, I hope something does too.

I aint sure if ya'll know how far Pa is from Fl but thats a drive. I absolutly refuse to fly as my wings have yet to come in. From Oct 1st- mar 31st is the only time can travel. Outside of that I might make it to Tn, Ga, Ky, or bama. And thats a stretch this time of year. Just not the right time. Though I wish I could.

It's not the drive. I can make the drive. It's the time. I get at most one day off a week this time of year. Some cases like this week, I work all 7 days. This is mulch, planting, sod, and landscape design season. On top of full time landscape maint. Oct 1 - Mar 31 we are on a bi weekly rotation and almost no side work. So it's easy to jam all the work out mon, tue, and wed and leave out for a Thur, Fri, Sat, and Sun trip return on Mon.

Just this week alone I start an entire day of new maint contracts, 2 sod jobs, 2 shrub installs, 23 mulch jobs and a sprinkler system install. And it's Thur already. hahahah

3 not 23 mulch jobs

I'm considering trying to make it to this event. We're are very seriously considering getting a fila and I think it would be a good place for us to gain a lot of knowledge about the breed. What airport would someone fly into? We're traveling from Kansas City...
