Hello folks, Call me Rabbit and this is my first post. I have 5 y/o American bulldog, a 19 month old Bullmastiff, and a 17 month old Cane Corso. Human wise there is myself, Mid-twenties Combat Veteran, my lovely Girl friend, and our 5 week old Daughter Charlotte Grace. we live in the Midwest on a 6 acre Hobby Farm were our puppies get plenty of exercise. So far we keep very safe distance between dogs and baby, but they have been very well mannered with her. I originally wanted the Bullmastiff to be my service dog, but I got behind on the training, and I don't think I can make a comeback! I would love to train my Cane Corso for a form of Agility type training, but more like military/police dogs obstacle courses. I would like some information on this type of training, and also cart pulling for my Bullmastiff. I have plenty of space on my farm to build courses for both events. Id just like to be pushed in the right direction, weather it be dvds, books, websites. I also have interest in eventually starting my own Mastiff rescue here on my farm. My dogs have been my therapy, especially my English Mastiff Tank who passed due to cancer in lungs at 5 y/o. Tank truly was my crutch, and got me thru the burdens of war, both physically and mentally. This has continued with my current dogs, each with their own character, helping me get by each one of them, with different difficulties I have. Ive been observing this forum for over a year, and now that I am no longer medically fit for my next tour to Afghanistan, I figured now is the time to get involved. Freedom isn't Free.....

Welcome aboard~ Sounds like a pretty big family of dogs! Congrats on your daughter! Thank you for serving in the military!

PM Ron Ackerman and geisthex, they are both in to agility training and could give you lots of great advice. I would also recommend posting in the training section your question so you will receive more replies.
