Just had my boerboel weighed his exactly 5 months an weighs 41kg how big would you say his going to get an his nice an lean
Yea 90 pounds at dead 5 months this is a good picture to show his body condition he has no excess fat are breeder said his perfect weight can't wait to see how he turns out
The estimate chart I have puts a 5 month old at 39.4% of their adult weight... which would put your pup around 228lbs (103kg) when full grown. YIKES! That estimate hit Denna's adult weight within 5lbs. But... your mileage may vary! I think 228lbs is a bit outside the standard for a Boerboel. He looks like he's got good form to handle that much mass, though. Looks like he's got logs for legs! Beautiful! Very expressive, too. I think you got a great looking dog there!!
Hi @DennasMom So how does your estimate chart work? I'm a total doodle head figuring these things out Charlie, is 30.1 kg at 5 months today, so fully grown he would be approximately .....? Would appreciate some help Thanks, Elana
From what I've seen if you double there weight at 5 months it's pretty close to what they will be 2-3 years so yours could get up to 135 around there
Thank you for the response, I appreciate it. Your boy, by the way, sounds like a giant among others, but a beautiful giant. Where did you get him from, and do you happen to know how much the parents weighed ? Here's my 'little' guy, Charlie....
His beautiful who's his parents his from egoli maximus an I think his about 80 kg his a very big boy his moms a lot smaller around 45-50 kg his dad was bout 54 kg at 8 months I think Nigel will be bout 54 at 7 months so guessing he will be bigger than his dad
Egoli...... They're situated in South Africa. Are you in SA, or did you ship him in? Nigel, is going to be a massive boy, .
Yea both his parents are from South Africa they were imported into the U.K. An we had one from there litter his mom is klien sandfontien fay
