Hello all. I have a 7 month old female french mastiff. Her name is Bella. She was just diagnosed with puppy strangles just wondering if any other have had this problem with there pup? Her weight is 68 pounds is that a normal weight at that age?
She is gorgeous!! I've never heard of 'puppy strangles', what is that?
And don't worry too much about her weight, her body condition looks good which is all that really matters, slow and steady growth is the key. At 7 months Kujo (my boy) weighed in at 71 pounds.
Her limfnotes in her neck swelled up and she started to loose her hair around her face. They put her on clevemox? and predosone. It's starting to clear up I just wasn't sure if it could have stunted her growth.
