adequan canine injections for arthritis and meloxicam 7.5 1/2 tab daily

We have a French Mastiff 10.5 in age doing wonderful all but the arthritis in her joints. We are trying Adequan injections and Meloxicam to stop the discomfort, does anyone have experiences on this?

We do monthly adequan injections for my 10 year old pit bull with elbow arthritis. I do think it helps some, as she does seem a little more stiff when she's due for an injection. NSAIDs like meloxicam are one of the mainstays of arthritis management for both the pain and inflammation, but we don't do it with Mazey because she has a history of gastric ulceration. It should be a big help your girl though if she's otherwise healthy.

Do you do the injections at home or take to the vet monthly?
I give Zoey monthly shots for her Addison's it's very expensive but about half what it costs at the Vet.
We order her meds from Valley vet meds online, they contact the vet for a prescription and ship it to our house.
