My "Tiny" baby girl is 6 months now, weighing in at 60 lbs, about 10 lbs a month. Is this about average? Should she be gaining more or less?

She sounds to be on track; I think my male DDB was sixty-something pounds around that age. She's probably going to be a good-sized girl. Do you know what her parents' weight were? That is a big determining factor.

Can you post a pic of Tiny? Be more concerned with body condition than body weight. Where does she fall on the chart?

I've just weighed my boy buddy who was 7 months last week and he's topping the scales at 41kg=90lbs,and his body condition is great in comparison to the chart.

Each Dogue is different. Body condition is what you go by. As long as she is not ribby or over wieght. Ideal is a nice tuck from last rib to hips if your looking down on your dog. size and bone density is determined by genetics. My male at 6 months was 105 pounds. but he was large at 8 weeks with a lot of bone when i took him home he was 22 pounds. now at 14 months he is 140 plus. he had been on adult food since 4 months. Body condition is all you need to worry about you. your dog will have growth spurts and times of slow growth . As long as body condition is watched and food intake adjusted she will grow as her genetics determine.

Hi,

My DDB Hank is 10 weeks today and is 28lbs…I think he will be around that 65lbs weight come 6 moths.

Can any one tell me when the underbite really is noticeable or when it starts to develop?

Our DDB Wilson was 76lbs at 6 months old, he is now 18 months and 123lbs. A lot of people worry about weight but you should look at the overall body condition of your dog. We have always kept Wilson lean so that while he was doing a lot of growing there wasn't too much strain on his joints. He is quite short for a male and very muscly but he is all in proportion and healthy which is the main thing.
