Hello fila forum sad that my first post has to be a complaint with a recent situation I encountered. If you guys have a litter and a buyer comes to ask you to buy a puppy deny him. His name is TAVARES BANY he is not trustworthy and threatens you when he doesn't get his way. He was purchasing a puppy from me and put a deposit on her puppy which I ended up keeping because I don't want her to go a irresponsible owner. He put a 300.00 deposit on a pure CAFIB fila puppy granddaughter of UMIRI DE ITANHANDU he was indecisive of his decision he was going back in fourth either to buy the puppy or buy a cheaper puppy that to him was better deal. So he asked for he deposit back I said Deposits are non-refundable but agreed to give him his deposit back solely on that fact that I don't think he isn't a sooted owner to own any puppy I will ever have or provide it best care possible. So him being mad at the decision of not receiving the puppy (NOW THAT HE CHANGED HIS MIND AGAIN) he threaten to come to my house a take his money back or the puppy threaten me quote on quote " I need my money today if I don't have my money today you better call all your homies because your going to need them". Before he threaten me I promised to transfer his money back by monday because the closest bank is a hour away but no he kept demanding today or he was going to come to my house and do something to me. So I called the police and reported him because of his threats he was making. so he ended up being afraid of the police situation and was okay NOW about receiving his money on monday. DONT SELL ANY PUPPIES TO THIS GUY IF YOU WANT YOUR PUPS TO GO TO A GOOD HOME HE ISNT A RESPONSIBLE PET OWNER!!! WHAT I WROTE IN THIS POST ISNT HALF THE THINGS HE WAS SAYING TO ME USING PROFANITY ETC.... SO BEWARE WHEN HE TELLS YOU HIS NAME OR SEE AREA CODE (925). DONT DEAL WITH TAVERES BANY THEM IF YOU HAVE ANY FURTHER QUESTION LET ME KNOW.

Your a joke, I can't believe you would come on here and say half of this b.s about my friend and club member

1. I was with him the first time and many times he spoke to you
- he offered to help train your fila that you couldn't control for free
- offered you advice on how to help your prolapsed dog that you insisted on breeding
- was going to come all the way from the Bay Area to pick up the pup and train your dogs for free
- he called me three hours into the trip and said you told him not to come because you decided to keep the pup.
He sent me the text where you said deposits are non refundable
"Ok, no problem- I'll be there tomorrow to pick up the pup" that's the direct text he frwd me. You never responded to him until the next day after he had started driving down.
You have three dogs, and want to sale them all your ads are all over the net because you can't handle them or the breed doesn't interest you anymore and he's the bad guy? You throw away dogs like inanimate objects and dare to call someone that offered you help out because you were to scared to meet them after a disagreement? Your a joke.
Keep this kinda bs between the two of you and the cops or whomever not on a positive forum.

Just spoke with him

You were mad that he decided to buy the pup from the breeder and not you, because the breeder said you chose based of color And not temperament he wanted temperament you lied and when he found out directly from the breeder you felt dumb like trying to sale all your dogs and claiming you care about the well being of dog.

You then told him you wanted to keep the dog and you would return the deposit because he was your "friend" he said since you wouldn't sell him the dog he wanted his deposit the same day. You told him you wouldn't refund the deposit until a few days later, he got mad- You got scared and called the cops??

What a friend you are, nice!

lol Bh-K9 thanks for sharing other half of the story, if what you said is true what a douche. Your friend is lucky he didn't have to deal with him.

Wow that is horrible, your selling dogs on craigslists and you actually talk about someone else being a responsible owner, and who has grown filas and makes them stay in a kennel in what looks like your garage, they want to be in the house staying by your side, not stuck in a cage in the garage away from you, just from what I see on this post and your craigslist ad you have no business breeding these dogs and I'm sorry for the 2 you own. They have the misfortune of having you as an owner, giving you their loyalty and bonding with you and now you wanna throw them to some random person off craigslist for "800 obo" you don't deserve a filas love and trust, man this has pissed me off

Just realized and saw that the post is for one dog, either way, you don't deserve to own a fila and have something that gives you loyalty, would die for you, but all he's worth to you is 800$ or the best wad of cash someone will offer. Hopefully he will end up in a new owners hands that know and appreciate what they have and treat him like he should be treated

It's the littermate sister to your girl-
We were all excited about him getting a cafib bred fila, and getting as many of these dogs away from this breeder as possible,we also wanted to see for ourselves how she would mature and if there was a difference we could see in temp...
Then we find out the truth, he was offered more money for the pup so he made up this wonderful story and conveniently decided he was not fit for the pup...
This guy was telling us how the breeder cheated him-sold him the pup for a high price then turned around and was selling pups on craigslist for 1000.00
Drama drama drama I was hoping this would have went away, then I saw the post and was shocked, amazing how stories get turned around.

And yes Tavares said he did tell him he was coming down to get his deposit or the pup after he was told he would not get the deposit back AND wouldn't get the pup while he was three hours into a seven hour trip.

The post is for one of his three dogs-- he's selling all three of his dogs because the breed doesn't interest him anymore and he doesn't have a job and needs a quick buck.

BH-K9 Since you are involved first hand. For the record, where did this breeder buy his dogs from? What breeder or person sold him these Filas?
