"BIRD DOG" Mastiff

Just found out that my 8 month English Mastiff ate a Suet Cake made for birds . It was the small one but made of Suet ( FAT ) and bird seed . Should I watch for any problems ? Why do they eat or chew ..rocks , socks , underwear , cardboard , paper , wood , leaves , cat food , cat poop , rabbit poop, plastic , and now bird suet cake , when I buy him Blue Buffalo food and other top shelf treats GOES BEYOND ME .

He may end up with diarrhea, but otherwise I don't think it will hurt him! I've experienced so many accidental on purpose ingestions of things not meant for my boys that its scary! That suet stuff is pretty greasy...

Assuming no raisons in it (sometimes the fruit ones do), I'd not worry. Quite possibly diarrhea from the load of fat on the system, but otherwise he should be fine.

Sounds like he will be fine except for maybe some loose poop....LOL. When Ruger was going through the "Terrible Twos" (Started that at about 7 months) He would pick up everything he could get to, like a damn vaccum cleaner. It has gotten better but I still have to keep the socks on the ceiling. LOL

Cway, I have already talked to her about that damn avatar this morning. Yuck!
