WOW! Some of you have BIG dogs! Titan weighs 110 lbs and is 24" to the shoulder. He's small compared to the other dogs. His dad weighed in at 130 lbs. Our dog trainer said he should be at about 99 lbs. Now I'm confused... Should Titan weigh more or should I continue to feed him appropriately to loose about 10 lbs? He's on the raw diet, I've been feeding him 2.5 lbs of food per day (100 lbs X 2% of weight)

Smokeycat, Titan looks very healthy. You're right...I should not compare his size to other dogs. All that matters is that he is a healthy baby~ Thank you...

I'm not sure how tall Thor was but he weighed 125 lbs at 8 months, that was the same weight that Duke was full grown at 6 years. That was one of the few times his weight stuck out with me.

PS musicdeb, Titan is very handsome!

Knox turns 9 months old tomorrow, and he just hit 100 pounds (finally!). Seems like it took him forever to get there, especially considering all the weight charts out there. Everyone else's seems to hit 100 pounds by around 6 or 7 months.

Roux just turned 4 months, and she's pushing 50 pounds. She already weighs more than Knox did at that age, so we're curious to see where they both end up!

This may be a silly question but how are you weighing your dogs? I can't imagine trying to get my pup to stand still on one of those little scales for people.

I take mine to the vets office. It's a double duty, I can keep track of how fast he is growing and he learns that the vet is a good place to go.

I do that sometimes but their hours are not always convenient so I go to Petsmart and they have a truck scale.... er... large dog scale in the front of the store. :)

For Boris, we use the vet's scale for the most part. For the weights I noted as 'home scale', my spousewich weighed himself on our people scale, next picked Boris up -- then we subtracted. We won't be able to do this much longer though, lol
