Chicken based food

For those of you that have CCs with issues with chicken based foods, is it just chicken that gives them problems or poultry in general (including turkey and duck)? I know my girl gets really terrible gas when she eats any food that has chicken as an ingredient. I’ve been avoiding poultry in general but I didn’t know if that was necessary. So just trying to see where others stand on the topic.
Thanks!

Not a CC, but most of my boxers and my EM can't do chicken or turkey. I just avoid poultry all together since there are plenty of other options that work well for them.

My EM can't have any food or treats that has any form of poultry in it without it causing extreme gas to diarrhea. He can have fresh raw, home cooked or dehydrated however so it must be something in how it gets processed or preserved that causes the problems. I did try each type of bird, in part because the other dog loves chicken treats.

my dogs cant do any processed poultry at all. But we can cook them fresh boiled chicken (human grade like what we make ourselves) and they can eat that with no issue. It is something in the processing of the poultry for dog food that causes the issue.

My CC is CRAZY for green beef tripe. Smells absolutely awful but it’s the only thing he loves to eat.
We will occasionally give him raw chicken and turkey as well and he seems to enjoy that as well and we don’t have any major gas problems (unless we add raw eggs to it as well)
