She's a tool thief, that's my 3/8s ratchet and 14mm socket you stole.. I put a new radiator the truck to save $$,, the mechanics labor would have been at least what the radiator cost so I saved us round abouts $200..20201018_103403(0).jpg 20201018_103540.jpg

I've had a good chuckle looking at these pics...boy-oh-boy, you have a busy life, and Bella is a star attraction. Farm life is so desirable, but facts are facts, I'm too lazy to get up and feed the chickens in the am, so, I'm confined to city life, and store bought eggs. But keep the pics coming, especially the antics of Bella and her wonderful life on the farm. They are truly wonderful. Thank You!

Thank you BM, we're very much attached and enjoying her.. She's lol, learned to drool, just baby strings yet but I have no doubt she'll get it mastered.. She got beef rib bones from the table recently and one we played fetch with tonight, glad to see she is as alert and keen as she is, cuz I pitched it a good ways.. This is her dairy and hint hint if some SUPER MOD could change the title to Bella's daily life and diary that would be awesome..:D

So for my love of animals / dog I pop in here on a near regular basis.. I see a lot of concern from folks worrying about growth.. ME, I want structure before weight.. If need be I will limit caloric intake to achieve such, your dog will not die from being hungry I promise.. Bella is roughly 19 inches and 41 lbs at present, but I'm guessing she gets a lot more activity than many pups because she lives on a farm and stays outside.. I'd guess that if she spent a good many hours in a crate that she'd be a couple lbs heavier.. But no worries she is fit and quite the athlete.. No new pictures this go round but I'll sure get some this weekend..

20201030_174914.jpg 20201030_174752.jpg I am guilty of training our Bella to think that a tape measure is a toy, lol, it's tough getting things measured with her around.. It's also tough getting a clear action shot with a cell phone..

I think this is her best glamor shot to date.. She went to tsc again last night and then on to see the grand kids so it was an evening out she much enjoyed.. Then today she and us met the newest neighbors and their 3 dogs.. So far this weekend she has gotten new experience.. Momma went grocery shopping and she pouted the whole time she was gone, plus I was on the roof measuring for sheet metal.. She was puzzled as I was out of her reach but could see me,, too funny.. Glamor shot..

No recent pictures of Bella but as of 11-14 we're still hauling in yummy garden tomatoes from the raised beds.. Bell and jalapeno peppers are still thriving in the green house.. Lettuce, radish, beets, cabbage, carrots recently been harvested.. Good eats... The newest flock of 15 laying birds are doing great and we've had zero loss.. Zero loss on the 25 meat birds as well..20201114_173305.jpg 20201108_160459.jpg

Winters coming, lots of things to do before the freezing temps are regular.. The gophers are working double time making a mess out of the yard.. Bella was playing with something small and having a good time with it as she is good at.. I nabbed what she was playing with and it turned out to be a gophers head lol, just the head or skull so our girl may just be benefitting the farm as a gopher getter.. That would be nice as they do make the terrain a bumpy mess.. Because of the temps and her being a bit more mature she is now sleeping in our bedroom in a crate.. She very much enjoyed the Thanksgiving holiday, she ate like a queen, had the grandkids to play with and I had 4 days off to spend time with..New pics to follow hopefully today...

So we got snow here today 5-6" so far, some monster flakes to start the morning and an array of flakes thru the day.. I purposely left Bella out in it just for the experience.. She loved it, trying to push up snowballs was too funny, she had a blast for sure but was let in on 2 occasions.. We picked up a crate a few weeks ago and she now shares the masters bedroom.. The 1st 2 nights "go to bed" was a game but the 3rd was a charm and a breeze since, now coming out in the morning is not always the easiest.. She weighed in @ 60 lbs at 6 mo and I sometimes think I don't feed enough but she looks good and healthy and has endless stamina.. 20201213_094432.jpg 20201213_094420.jpg

6 more days until Christmas 12/19 , Bella's getting a BIG cow bone.. Beautiful day here, sunshine 55 degrees Bella and I spent the day doing stuff, she is something else I mean to tell ya.. She will be 1 tough protection dog when she is at maturity and without any encouragement.. I have nice lawn clippings bagged up in feed bags for the chickens winter coziness.. I'm coming from the barn with a bag and she is hitting it like a freight train, I have her jumping near 3 feet off the ground.. She is a serious athlete and finally finding some quietness at the end of the day before bed.. Hopefully come a year old and she'll have gotten some more mellow.. lol.. I downloaded 121 pics and all too large to post, Ima gonna have to remember that.. Bunch of nice pics too..

So as a life long critter keeper of many a species I'd venture to say that I operate different than most.. Bella was wormed yesterday and wormed with Zimectrin Gold, a paste horse wormer.. I've been doing this for years I once wormed a chiwowa (spelling) and I wormed that lil 4 lb thing with about a 50lb dose by accident.. I thought it had seen it's last day, nope and you can bet he was worm free.. I have found Ivermectin to have a wide safety margin BUT I am not encouraging you to do what I do.. I got Bella yesterday with about 100 lb dose and she felt great all day, not a feel bad all day, But I haven't found a fresh pile yet so I don't know what kind of worm load she had.. Her itchy A hole and her regular consumption of chicken chit said she had worms though.. All is right now..
