I have a coat for Topaz. She is almost bald on her "elbows", and she definitely hesitates going outside below 40 degrees. She does not like the cold at all and will sit there and shiver. But if I put the coat on her, she will bound outside after my daughter with no problem.

It won't hurt to do it! ;)

i dont have a corso but im sure their fur density is close to equal.. even when i first got odie i would take him ice fishing with me, i have a heated hut but he would always want to sit outside. i would put a board down and he would sit out there in a blizzard and just love it. never shake or anything.

My EM pup loves the cold. The only time he has hesitated so far, he's almost 10 months, was the morning that it was -25C (-13F).

Our dogs (bullmastiffs) will huddle together if it's cold outside, they also seek the sun when they go out. The older ones wear coats when we go to shows & they're outside in the early morning if it's cold. But for the most part they're fine without. HOw cold does it get where you're at?

I would guess a coat wouldn't be a bad idea.

Delilah has a dog door but will stay outside 99.9% of the time. She sleeps in a dog house out there. If it gets into the low 20's or lower I won't let her go out but I'm sure she prefers it out there.

My CC are fine out when it is cold, however when we hit -30 we tend to stay indoors more and go out for potty breaks. I do training activities with them in those times to keep them occupied

LOL Apparently my dog is a big wuss I'm finding out. I literally have to push her butt out the door on cold mornings

My corso loves the cold, snow and all. Especially when there is snow she doesnt want to come in the house :). No coat for her, i tried to put one on her but she went nuts wanted to take it off. Their fur is quite dense though they r not cold.

Well mine is only half EM, and the other half weimaraner, so that probably has something to do with it. She has barely any fur. Must be from the weimaraner
