Beautiful. I'm glad to see that brindles are respected in your breed; the judges at AKC shows don't seem to even notice brindle bullmsastiffs.
Actually the light fawns and formentinos tend to get lost among the other colours more often then a brindle would but there are a few exceptions
Thanks, with this show it isn't points it is CACs like in Europe. You need to have 3 Excellent with CACs card under 3 different judges to get a Championship and then to get and elite Champion 4 Excellents with CACs card under 4 different judges.I'd noticed that too Ruby, much like the English Mastiffs, you almost never see anything but fawn in the show ring (at least the few I've been to anyway). And the Westminster BOB Cane Corso, wow, LOVED the color, stunning, and so NOT the "usual" color set.
The Westminster BOB is a relative of our lines and Josie is certainly a looker Her breeder Joe from Liberty is a good guy and is extremely proud of this girl. The other formentino that won and award of merit was the father to our formentino puppies
And cause I keep forgetting to post here, Blackshadow, lovely dogs and congrats on the points!
Tell danae she looks great...she lost all her baby weight! She should've won though I'm bias of course since I've watched her grow...
Will do, she seemed to breath off the baby weight (sigh I am so jealous!). Both dogs did well that day and while it is nice to win I can't complain about losing to a nice male We will see what the judge thinks next time and maybe it will be our day
