Corso shaky leg??

Rocco is now going on 6 months and he has had a shaky right leg since i could remember. sometimes when he is standing still or sitting his right front leg will shake like he has palsey. it's really noticeable and i'm beginning to worry. at 1st i thought it was nerves but i dont think he even notices it. he lets me touch his leg so im pretty confident he's not injured.

anyone else ever notice this?? :(

Nikki did this, but it was both legs. Once she delivered her pups and lost weight it stopped completely. I don't know why your puppy would do it though.

No idea. I would cruise the forum. Every concern I have ever had was to be found somewhere on this sight. Seems like I saw something about shaky hind legs here before. Recently.

Young Dogs Growing:
The most common cause of shaking legs in the young dog pain in leg joints such as hips, knees and elbows are often affected, don’t forget all the joints in the back. As many of us know, when the back hurts, everything hurts.
Helping the Body:
Herbal and nutritional interventions such as high levels of omega-3′s from fish oil, green-lipped muscle extract, cucurmin (turmeric extract), MSM, glucosamine etc. can be very effective in helping strengthen muscles and the tissues that support the joints.

Other Problems:
Dystemper can also cause the shaking in young dogs legs.

Hope this helps you

He has had all of his shots but i will make an appointment for distemper. Thank you

My lil man does this too, mainly when he is laying down on hard surface. I have noticed that he has begun to shake the legs when he is sitting... all during noticable growth spurts! My Vet isn't concerned and neither am I.

Hun I am not stating he has distemper bc you are not telling me he has more signs ..

I would say he has growing pains more then anything else

My older Presa had the same as he was growing up ..
