Crate Accomodations

Okay, I have a chewer.. a big chewer, who has to be crated overnight to keep her, as well as our home, safe. I am petrified she will get into something or chew something that will hurt her.. Being the chewer she is, she chews whatever bedding is used in her crate to keep her comfortable. I have tried all different kinds, we started out with memory foam, etc. and have concluded she is going to hurt herself chewing/possibly ingesting foam bedding. I cannot bear the thought of her laying in there for 6 or so hours without bedding.. I also cannot afford to keep replacing bedding daily. I am at a loss.. If anyone has any suggestions I could try or ideas, I am willing to try anything.. Thank you.

Well first off would like to say sorry to hear that ......but I can feel your frustration. my puppy 3month cane corso is not a problem its my APBT I tell my kids he's not real a dog but a barracuda because noting is safe with him ....I have bought some real nice beds for them pretty pricey too ..but i'v been doing a little research on this crate pad called "the primo pad " they claim its indestructible you can Google it I have found a couple of vendors have it and also check reviews on it more good then bad .....so you mite look in to it and see what you think or if any one here have it they can let us know what they think ....but good luck I know how you feel .

Horse stall padding works as well. Can be fit to fit inside the crate, and is heavy for them to chew. Otherwise I would say shredded newspaper.
You do not want them ingesting foreign material which risk getting stuck in their stomach or intestines, trust me...is NOT a fun surgery.
