I bought a used crate on Craigslist for my Bullmastiff puppy that i'm getting in a few days (can't wait!). I like to use the airline carrier style crate, mainly because they are easy to clean, and keeps everything inside if there was an accident.

The only problem is that these Giant sized kennels are way to big for a puppy in my opinion. Has anyone ever seen or used any type of divider for these Giant sized kennels? I tried a google search, but I can't find anything.

If not, have you had success using something to divide the crate? I've used an upside down laundry basket in the past, but this is my first Giant breed, so a laundry basket won't work with a kennel this size.

We just filled the back half with a big pillow.
Denna loved it.

If you need to fill space, you could probably rig something with a cardboard box. Maybe use some string through the windows to tie it into place?

Here's Denna's "Den" when she first came home.

That looks really comfortable, I'm afraid to put something that isn't machine washable in the crate. If there is an accident and I can't wash it, then its ruined.

We went a little lazy and filled the back half of our giant crate with the largest cardboard box we could fit in there. It worked pretty well and could be changed out if there were an accident.

Thats what i've been using. I thought my puppy would chew it up, but he's only chewed a little bit of one corner.
