I actually had reached out to CeCe too to see if she had any puppies. She e-mailed me back, but by then (which really wasn't that long) we'd already found Stonehaven Mastiffs.

I don't know much about Glacier, but it looks like she does everything right and Walnut Crest here on this site is the one who listed Glacier as a reputable breeder, so I'd guess Glacier is well respected among breeders.

I really like that upcoming breeding with Falcon. I am a big Greiner Hall fan for putting bone, heads and depth on Mastiff.

She has more dogs than I would personally have, but if they are all kept well I see nothing wrong with that. I am not living in that area of the states, but I haven't heard anything negative. When I used to post more often on another forum she was there and I never had an issue with any of her philosophy.

No red flags here :)

One more thing, from my end, if I had the space right now I would be contacting her on one of those Chelsey/Falcon pups!

1) Falcon was a pretty inconsistent stud -- the best were great, the worst were not. His dad (Zech) and his uncle (Jed) were more consistent studs. The Napotniks would agree with this. Personally, I think his "magic" comes through his daughters more so than his sons ... but, that's my personal opinion -- lots of smart people will disagree with me, I'm sure.

2) I've seen quite a bit of the dam's mother's full sister. I don't know much about the dam or her mother other than what I've seen online.

3) I expect that, if the litter is a reasonable size, it will have at least a couple of really nice pups ... assuming it takes.

I am a big Greiner Hall fan for putting bone, heads and depth on Mastiff.

The Napotniks (Greiner Hall) did a great thing in preserving those traits for the next generation of fanciers and breeders.

She has more dogs than I would personally have, but if they are all kept well I see nothing wrong with that.

<snip>

She has many more dogs than I'd feel comfortable with, too. But, then again, she doesn't have young kids at home, etc.

She has nice dogs and has done some nice breedings. While she breeds more litters than many others do, there is a place in all breeds for well-thought-out breedings. I see this as a well-thought-out breeding.

Good luck to her and all those who are looking for a pup out of this litter. It should be wayyyy oversubscribed.

You know, I have found some of the most helpful people to be people who have been breeding for a long time, the Napotniks are those type of people. Leah has been most generous with her knowledge and helpful. I had an insemination with Brutus I was trying to accomplish back in 2010 and she was one of the most encouraging people.

I understand they are just like that and frankly we need more breeders like that, willing to help others and share knowledge to others and not afraid to point out there own dog's faults. I told her what my own bitches faults were and had an open on honest discussion if it old e good match..wish the breeding would have taken..sighhh, best laid plans. ;)
