DDB underbite

Hi,

Can someone tell me when I should expect the underbite to start to show? I have a 10 week old DDB that still hasn't started to show this…is this normal and if so what age should I expect to see the underbite develop?

Tali's happened so gradually I really couldn't say. A year and a bit, maybe?

Thanks…did your DDB also grow into its nose? I mean, did you notice the nose was longer then the head filled out and caught up to the nose?

a level bite , tight scissor , or reverse scissor on a 10 week old ddb is imo a good bite , i'd be happy to see it , especially if accompanied by a strong chin .... most ddb are to undershot , including mine ...... the chances of your pup not being undershot are very slim ............a large nose on a pup is also , imo , an excellent attribute , as most have too small of a nose with pinched nares .......... both attributes are hard to find and maintain in the breed .........

Our girl has never been shown, and she's a tick under the breed standard height and weight. Here's herself at 8 weeks, around 2 years, and about a year and a half.
