Dog pool

So, starting my search to find Apollo a new kiddy pool. Its a little early, but not by much (probly after Easter is ideal). And I ran across this: Dog Bone Pool

Now thats WAY WAY WAY more than I was planning on spending. His last kiddy pool was $10 and lasted two years.....but I LOVE the concept. In theory the truck-bed liner material should hold up for damn near ever, and the drain would be SO HANDY....plus its 6 inches longer than the largest hard plastic kiddy pools I've found, and with the big dogs thats not something to ignore.

Reviews seem to be pretty positive. And even on Amazon (where its free shipping!) the only two complaints are the price and how dirty white gets. But the white makes sense since you're trying to keep it cooler....

Has anyone else seen these anywhere? Or can point me towards more info on them?

That's the coolest pool I've ever seen! I don't think it will fit in his Easter basket though. Lol have you looked in the paper for a shallow koi pond?

My koi pond isn't very deep but they are very sturdy. I see them in the paper and on craigslist all the time for very good prices.

Another thought a water trough. I found those work well too and don't break. Just for an idea plasticmart.com has some nice ones

My local TractorSupply has those, but the oval ones aren't sized to work well as a pool, and the round ones are HUGE, and cost almost as much as the pool, plus they're taller, which is fine for Apollo, but Arty will climb in occasionally and I'd like for him to be able to hop out without TO much trouble.
