do they make doggy doors big enough for a EM? nothing ive seen at any store so far would be anywhere close to big enough. and is it a smart idea considering a person could crawl right through it lol.

Yes they make them that large, I have one. I can keep it locked from the inside, but I would say that wether you want to install it is up to you and the situation you live in. Would your dog stop or intimidate an Intruder?

We had one for Mongo. We locked it at night... the size of the doggy door and the fact that you have one should tell intruders to beware.

Try gundogs.com or do a search gundog doggie doors. They're huge a reasonable, but very loud. You'll half to teach your dog to use it.

A person would have to be pretty stupid to go through that large of a doggy door! Who knows what's on the other side?

Open the door and throw a ball. Make it a game for your dog. You don't actually go through the door, lol.

What I meant was............anyone who would try to break into your house by crawling through a doggie door that big would have to be nuts!

I live in a very bad neighborhood in Riverside, CA. Despite growing up here it's still awlful. You'd be surprized how brazen people are even with that big a.. door out front. It was tough training Miel to use it though. I tried everything. Turned into a game, food, everything. After two weeks I sunk to an all time low. I acted like I was getting attacked and started yelling for her. She charged through the door and became a dogue. It was great! Archie (american bulldog) was cake. Turned it into a game (tug) and he went right through. One quality i like about the door is how loud it is when the dogs run out. It sounds like a shot gun blast which scares the hell out of the sleezebags!
