Louie has been adopted weeks ago but we need your help getting him there as other attempts have left him, his adopter, and CCR disappointed. But our fearless transport angels are always there even during the holidays. Drivers needed on Saturday, December 13, 2014 from TX to NM. Please email Liz@canecorsorescue.org if you can drive a leg.

Please share with trusted drivers in route.

Thank you!

CCR is beyond excited to bring you this great news Louie has been adopted by a wonderful family in New Mexico. We are so over the moon excited for him! The final part of his journey is getting him home !Louie will be forever grateful!!! Louie travels well so there is no need for a crate as he will eagerly go for another ride. Saturday, December 13, 2014 is the first day of his beautiful life…we are so glad you can be a part of his miraculous journey home! For those of you who have not been following his story,Louie is a 4 years old. He has been in CCR foster care for 6months and he is healthy and happy. CCR helped another rescue place Louie, but when things didn’t work out that previous rescue wouldn’t take Louie back. Instead, they said to euthanize him L. NOT HAPPENING!!! It wasn’t easy, but CCR Director squeezed him into her home until the perfect match was found.
Louie is altered, fully vaccinated, micro-chipped, and current on preventatives for heartworm and flea/tick. Louie will be transported with a martingale collar, harness, leash, medical records, a health cert, as well as dog food.
