When you measure the neck of a dog do you count all the wrinkly skin or do you measure it and tape up the skin? Lol... my corso has a tremendous amount of skin around her neck

That‘s actually a good question. When I use a measuring tape, I pretty much put it like a collar from a tightness perspective. That‘s probably not the most accurate way of doing it, but it meets my needs as I‘m measuring out of personal interest only.

Yes, I try to measure through the wrinkles, and squeeze them in a little to make sure the collar will not be too loose that it can come off her head. The puppy doesn't yet have too many wrinkles, but I'm sure he'll get more as he ages.

Last I checked, Axel was at 32". I can't find a collar that fits him properly, so I just throw a choker over his neck when I walk him (I actually clip his leash to his harness). Axel is a 135 pound Cane Corso. Not sure about my female. If I had to guess, I'd say 22-25".

Mouse my male EM floats between 210 and 220lbs, he's just under 32" at withers and neck is 32".
I had his collar made at a local leather shop that makes biker gear mainly.

This is Mouse's Collar hanging on the office door knob to compare to a belt length.
