First heat cycle

Hi I have a 14 month old female Cane Corso she’s on the small side only about 90 pounds with a thin frame she is fairly well trained 100% housebroken and walks well. I wish I could say she eats well but she doesn’t. She’s very picky. I feed her mostly raw food my question today she is going through her first heat cycle and it’s been three weeks already and I was just wondering how long this is going to take?

You should be almost through it. Hest cycles last 18-21 days plus still fertile after that, just not receptive

3 weeks is about normal so hang in there. With regards to her food, I have 4 mastiffs, 2 ultimates (DDBXNeopolitan) and 2 DDB. I started my ultimates, Boris and Betty on raw because that’s what they were fed by the breeder but after a few months they weren’t really eating and weren’t interested. I also noticed that their stools were quite loose so I took advice and was told that raw food was probably too rich for their stomachs. I was a bit dubious because I always thought a raw diet was the best I could give them but I changed to an organic kibble which has duck, boar and spiruluna in it plus other vitamins and minerals. There is no grain, rice or fillers and they love it.
