Right now my presa is 54 pounds. I was giving him 3 cups a day, but ive upped it to 4 cups. Good or more. He loves to go play, take walks. I wan to make sure im giving him enough to grow, with out over feeding.

There should be a puppy feeding guide on your bag. It is different to the adult guide. Normally 1.5x to 1.75x more.

Just keep tabs on his body condition - you should easily see the last rib or two when he's running and rolling around - and they should also be really easy to feel when you pet him.

Too much food would lead to extra "padding" and potentially also loose/pudding poops... adjust as necessary. The guide on the bag is just a starting point - each puppy will differ due to energy and activity levels.

We take walks everyday, and we have a fensed in yard he plays in with our boxer. He beginning to start the fear stage. We walk by people and he will bark a little and whine. I make him sit and calm down before we continue. A kid jumping on his trampoline was the part that scared him the worst.

The fear stage usually starts around 4-6 months and again around 10 months. They will be afraid of everything. Do not baby them when they are afraid as this enforces the behavior. Slowly introduce them to objects/people/other pups that scare them. Do not push it and watch their body language to see when they are getting ready to go into fear mode, i.e. tail tucks, body lowers and/or they are getting to run away. When you see the body language that they are afraid, turn around and bring them to a sit close to the object. Reward pup after he sits. When pup has calmed down, stand tall and take a deep breath, move towards the object again. As you move closer to the object, reward the pup. This training requires consistency and lots of patience.

Good advice. Thank you.
