Has anyone heard of Barkbox.com?

I came across a site called barkbox.com where you sign-up, pay a fee, and once a month they send you box of dog supplies geared to your dog's size. I was wondering there was anyone here that has used them, and is it worth it?

This seems very dubious to me, I suspect it will be a case of over the top payments for cheap thin crap that will be destroyed in moments.

Actually, I got one from a friend. They don't have "Extra Large", just Large, but it's mostly treats. Only one toy, which Taurus dismissed because it isn't fuzzy, and the treats are all-natural, made in the USA, and would likely cost a fortune at a pet store. It also had one of those laughably small, rubbery bowls meant for travel in it. The treat sizes would be good for training, but I try not to rely on food as a motivator because he gets too excited and tries to anticipate my next command.

But I digress. I might get another one just to see what else they stick in those boxes.

Trying out the first BarkBox now. It seems he's okay with the toy, but since it doesn't squeak and isn't fuzzy, he's not as interested. He was completely disinterested in the peanut butter smoothie thing. Let it melt on the rug. >_< He likes to chew on the little bowl that came with it, and he liked the soft treats, but ignored the banana-coconut ones. Admittedly, they were like bricks, but they didn't taste too bad. Probably better if I dunked them in coffee first. For me. Not the dog. The dog isn't allowed to have coffee. (Hey. If I can't eat it, why should my dog?) Haven't tried the jerky things yet.

Now, I'm tempted to get a second one, just to see if there's more than just the soft treats in there (that are GREAT for training or distracting Taurus while I'm trying to groom him...I keep the bag in his grooming caddy) that he'd like.

Hey. I spent almost thirty bucks on the enormous Kong he NEVER uses. Just kinda looks at me. I could pack it full of peanut butter (and have) and he licks the outside and leaves it to fester. May as well give it another go, right?
