Hi, and I hope to see a lot of different mastiffs. I have two English Mastiffs. My female is Molly, and she weighs 133 lbs. I got her when she was 10 months old, at that time she was abused and I took her in,and she only weighed 93 lbs. she is now 2 1/2 yrs old and weighs 133 lbs. and does a lot better around people. she is still nervous around new people. and when I have new friends over to the house I have them sit on the couch and wait for her to go to them. don't force the dog to them. Then I have a Male English Mastiff which I got him at age 7 weeks old. his name is Goliath, he is now 6 months old on the 20th of August. and he weighs 97lbs. as of yesterday. His dad weighed 230lbs and his mom weighed 180lbs. so I am sure he will be over 200lbs. between the both of them I go through a 44 lb bag of dog food a week. Is that normal? I have tried to post pictures of them but it hasn't worked yet. I haven't figured out how to do it. but I will. lol. well enough of my chatting. hope to hear from u soon. anyone. thanks.

I had raised german shepherds most of my life even as a child my parents had german shepherds. Until i took my female in as a rescue from that horrible man i had never heard of the english mastiff, and as u can see i love them to death. And had to have another. They are the gentle giant. I get so many people who want me to stop so they can pet them, they can't believe how big they are, i tell them there going to get bigger and there eyes get so big its funny. English mastiffs are so much fun, i wish i could have tons of them. But in reality that won't happen. Not enough room or food. Lol. Take care.
