Hello everyone!

I'm new here, and hubby and I are in the process of probably rescuing a mastiff. We already have an 8 month old Golden Retriever, but we want to add to the family. I'm just popping in to learn everything I can beforehand. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome!

What you need to learn will depend on what type of Mastiff you're interested in. There is a great deal of difference in temperaments. For a first time Mastiff owner, an English is a good choice, although if you've been a Terrier owner in the past, you're probably up for some of the more demanding breeds.
