My name is Tom, I live in Holland and have a great love for the mastiff breeds.
I have a 10 year old dog called Perry that is a mix (Father:Mastino Napolitano/Cane Corso, Mother Some sort of Shepperd/Podenco ibicenco) and a 5 year old Mastin Espanol called Lara. She is one of the (aprox.) 5 of her breed in The Netherlands. Both of them are "second hand" dogs, but sweet as can be.
I hope to share my interest and love for these beautifful dogs with a lot of peaple on this forum!

Well, I would love to show some pictures, but if i try to upload them, i get an error. The current picture in my avatar is Lara, In the next couple of days i will chacnge it in to Perry's picture.
He is such a nice to dog to have around, a gentle giant, Way to smart for a dog, more like a cat :)...
When my ex wife was pregnant of our son, we trained him to help out with all sort of little thing, like bring remote controles, telephones, bring groceries (non food of course) from the hallway to the kitchen, that kind of stuff. He is great with my son, who is now 5 years old. The hing i like most about hime is that, althoug he is now10 years old, has a an injury to his right front leg he still acts like a young dog, playing and just being plain stupid in some occasions :p.

Lara is just a great example of the breed. Lazy during daytime, awake at night, guarding "her" domain. Great with people she knows and trusts, a bit aware with strangers, but also a, very, very sweet dog.

I hope to show you some pictures soon!!!!
