Hello everyone! To be completely honest, before I can really truly call myself a mastiff owner, I must get some more expert opinions on just what my pup is..

As backstory, my boy Rudolph and his six litter mates were found in a garage by a good samaritan who brought them to the humane society where I work. They were stinky and their bellies were hugely distended from worms but they were (and are) sweet as can be. There were blue brindles, a brown (black?) brindle, a light tan, and then what might best be described as a blue and tan in the litter. I took two home to foster for about three weeks ago, and well, failed to an extent :) We decided the keep the male that we were fostering. He is blue brindle (or maybe reverse brindle, I really don't know the difference) and white on his chest and paws. The staff at the humane society is guessing these pups are pit bull/mastiff/cane corso blends. I don't have a lot of experience in identifying breeds at this young age so maybe you guys can help!

You can see his sister (the other puppy we fostered) in the last two pictures. I think her coloration is very unique and not quite sure what to call it. She has almost shepherd markings but with light blue and tan. They have grown like weeds in the three weeks we've had them and Rudolph's paws are quite large.

Any thoughts??

And thanks in advance for your help!!

There is a mastiff type quality about their heads and faces.
They are cute babys.

Thanks everyone for your replies!

I was thinking perhaps pitty too. But it's so hard to tell at such a young age. As for weight, I don't have an exact number, but I would estimate about 15 lbs. His sister was smaller. Age is approx. 2-3 months. No baby teeth have fallen out yet.

Here is one of their other litter mates just after he was adopted. Probably the biggest of the litter. All that skin!!
