Help for my Bullmastiff???

Dozer is a 3 year old 150lbs Bullmastiff. He has blown both cruciates in his knees and can barely stand and walk. He was also found to have "mild" hip dysplasia. I have to carry him down 3 stairs to get him out to go to the bathroom. Closest ortho referral is over an hour away and will cost several thousand dollars not to mention multiple follow ups and recovery. I just started a new job and can't take time off. My fiance and I are fresh out of school and have little money and will not be able to afford the surgery. My fiance just had MAJOR surgery herself and will require at least 2 more. Her medical bills are going to ruin us as she was an uninsured student when this all started and has not been able to work because of her condition. She cannot provide any physical assistance for the dog. I love my dog like family and can't stand to see him suffer and it kills me I can't do anything to help him. What can I do? Is there any help available out there for us or is it inevitible that we need to put him down to prevent him from suffering any more than he already is? :(

Sometimes rescues, usually breed rescues, are able to assist. Also take a look HERE, and see if there's anything close by for you.
