'Might be viewed as abuse"? How is swinging a dog by its leash into a wall view as anything other than abuse?

As far as this being a case of animal abuse, Hassan does not agree.
"If you see the video as-is, I'm sure it can be considered animal abuse," said Hassan. "If you see the whole video, you're going to realize what happened there happens everywhere all the time."

Fuck that, and charge Dr Hassan too.

Road Trip! Let's let the dogs be the judge and executioner! I'm sure Cane and Kona could take care of cowards like that.

What about the workers..."I didn't say anything because I was scared" WTF are you scared of? Anybody who does that to a dog is a fkin coward. How can you see this and do nothing.

Given the vet didn't see anything wrong and likely only fired the woman because video got out, I'd guess that some of them may have been afraid for their jobs. Fear of not being able to pay bills can make people ignore things that they would otherwise protest.

I would go along with that if they weren't in front of that news camera. If they were scared about their jobs they would have agreed with the vet and said they haven't seen that behavior before.

Yah, but that witness long out of that job now. I don't think they did right by not reporting it, but without evidence to back them up I can understand why they didn't. You're not going to get far in the job market when your reason for leaving your last job is "accused the office manager of animal abuse but didn't have proof so they fired me instead".

I think most of the ones on the video had already quit and were talking about abuse they had witnessed in the past. Why they hadn't come out since they quit I don't know but it could have been that they couldn't prove their allegations and from what I've read/heard of the US court system not having proof could cost them big in a slander charge.
