Hi all! I'm new to the forum and have a question.
I have a 15 weeks old female bullmastiff. I got her when she was 10weeks old. She is on a raw diet (meat, bone, offal, vegetable) and absolutely loves her food. When I changed her on a raw diet she had some loose stools but now her poops are nice and firm.
Anyway, how many times do I need to feed her?
I normally give her 2-3% of her body weight 3times a day. She also gets meaty bones between the meals. I would love to know if that's a good amount. My vet said she is growing well and healthy. Thanks!

At 10 weeks old, I would continue to feed her 3 times per day. As she matures, she will let you know when 3 times a day is no longer necessary, usually around 12 months or so.

I would add the meaty bone to her meal. Generally, raw diet is 2-3% of expected body weight. You then feed 80% meat, 10% meaty bone and 10% organ meat.

Keep an eye on her body condition which is more important than body weight and adjust food according to body condition.

Notice what Deb said, it is 2 to 3% of the expected (adult) body weight. If your BM is expected to be 120 lbs then you would be feeding 3 pounds of meat per day or 1 pound 3 times a day.

Exception to the rule is during extreme growth spurts this amount will often triple. Making feeding actually 3 pounds 3 times a day while watching the build of the dog. All mastiffs should grow up lean and should show 1 or 2 ribs during normal movement so that you don't add extra pressure on the joints as they develop.

Thank you guys! Yes I do give her meaty bones with a meal as well.
But her ribs are little bit visible at the moment.. so I might increase the amount. She put nearly 5kg in a month but she looks a little bit skinny. Well, thanks again ;)
