Yep, thats my backyard. Right on the other side of the pond is a bunch of woods with hiking trails. Its nice to walk back there, but in the Summer, my dogs always pick up a tick or two in the woods even with the frontline or K9advantix.

Wilbur is getting big and love his black face! I'm jealous of that backyard too. Is that a canal with alligators?

There haven't been any gators in there to my knowledge. There is a much bigger canal in my neighborhood that had a pretty good sized gator about 3 or 4 years ago, but it was removed after it was discovered. It did manage to eat several of the baby ducklings that were born that Spring.

My lab used to love jumping in and going for a swim when it was hot out. I don't think I have to worry about my current 2 pups jumping in. Wilbur did fall in one day while he and my GSD were playing. I wish I had my camera handy when it happened.
