This growth charts are so fun to check out. I'm comparing Luke with them just for the fun of it. Luke weighed in at 135.5 and are 31,5 inch as of last Thursday, he is 40 weeks now.

Nothing has been done to repair the right elbow yet and probably won't be unless he goes symptomatic on that leg. His left leg we are trying to rebuild the muscle that was lost due to non-use. Given the way he is bounding around like an idiot out in the current blizzard, I don't think it's bothering him too much.

Sounds like he is doing well now. :)

I haven't kept up on weighing my boy, but im positive he is a slow grower. His mother was still growing up, and filling out at four years. Finally stopped after she had pups. Now she's nice and lean. Haha she didn't start showwong Her "mastiffness" until about a year. She's probably about one thirty, and she's thirty inches even at the shoulder.
He's about twenty seven and a half to twenty eight at the shoulder, at ten months.
I would say he's just shy of ninety five pounds.
At seventeen months, his pop weighed In at one seventy.
He was a handsome, and capable EM names Tank. Haha <3

Big boy!!

People keep telling me that. Lol. The only time I see it is when steps on me.
I was worried that his difficulties with maintaining his weight post surgery (when he should have still been gaining) would have a bigger effect on his adult size but based on the % based growth chart floating around he's should get close to what I was told by his breeder. Now if only he would follow the theory that the bigger the dog the less they need to eat for each # of body weight it would be greatly appreciated. (He's 2.5x bigger than Jiggers but eats 3x as much).

I did get a kick out of the vet when she looked only at his chart and noted that he had gained 15 lbs since he turned 2 so he NEEDS to lose them. She hadn't even looked at him yet.

Ha ha ha! Not exactly a porker there. Vet thought Tali would top out at 60 lbs. She's still wee at 90+.
