Yea I like them bright colors. Would I just measure around the throat area? How tight would I want it it be to prevent it slipping off?

You should get you a little web site so I can link it on FB. Might drum up some extra cash if your wanting it.

Chuck, for Apollo's I measured snug up right behind his ears, so I knew what the size was that wouldn't slip over his head. From there it would depend on how much room you want it in, which would depend on how much the martingale chain that Mike uses tightens.

And if you want a buckle one or a slip on. Slip ons should be a half inch bigger just to get it over the head.

Chuck, it as as much to do with the fact that if I try to measure anywhere else on his neck I end up having to try to find skin under that insane winter ruff....and then realizing that I only needed it just big enough to NOT slide over his head anyway (that being the problem that caused this whole thread in the first place, damn dog figured out how to slip a normal martingale), so of course I should measure there!

Mike, I don't think I'd have believed it if I hadn't seen it. I've never seen a dog slip a properly fitted martingale, but he somehow figured out how to back out of it without pulling it tight, and do it fast enough we can't stop him. He's done it once more since, when hubby forgot and grabbed the martingale out of habit. He's to smart for his own good!

You're welcome. They happened to sell them at the place I took Mira for her first training class, because the company that makes is local. I really like them.

All these Tibetan mastiff puppy & adult picture everywhere recently are giving me cravings. . . =)

Ruth, collar tested out good with Jade and Duncan. Will be shipping out today. I hope you like and it fits well. Let me know.

Got it today. Apollo freaked the heck out of the UPS guy, who proved he knows dogs well enough to neither run or freeze....defiently coming into his adult temperment.

It fits perfectly thank you!

Awesome! Looks great on his color. I got a lady from Russia that wants 2 now. One just like yours and a red/blue choker.

It FEELS sturdy too, and I MUCH prefer the metal clasp over the plastic now that I've got one in hand to try. I've always had collars with plastic clasps before.

Hey Mike, do you have a Facebook or other contact I can direct folks to if someone sees it and wants one?
