Large dog martingale collar

Speaking of which, Mike can you do ones a bit narrower? We need to get Arty a new collar, and since he's basically full grown we were thinking we'd get something nice.

We got an adult sized all web martingale for Azzy at petco. It was over with the training tools rather than the regular collars.

Yep I make a 1/2 to 3/4 inch wide one. But I don't have metal buckles that small. I will look and see if they make them though. Here is a pic of Jade with Apollo's or Bailey's and a small one on at the same time.

That would work.....the site you posted for the metal buckles says they have 5/8" ones, so just a bit bigger than the 1/2".....

Is the pictures of the colors of cord you posted earlier what you have now?

Mike Those are AMAZING! I love the color combos and the styles!!

I recently found Geniune Leather Martingales that are custom made from California Collar Company Inc. All customizable with Name Plates and Hardware. Expensive but I think worth it if you like the Leather Collars.

I'll have to book mark them, I was going to get another rolled leather collar for Arty's tags, but they have a couple "tag holders" that might work....

Thanks kbuchanan66 (sry don't know yer name) Wonder if they would tell me where to get the heavier chains. If I was going to order a leather collar I would get one from Baptist Boerboels on FaceBook.

Ruth I am going to put together a new color chart with some sample of combined colors this weekend if you can wait. But that old colors pic should be close. Except the brick-orange black is almost gone and maybe the zombie green. Looks like 5/8 and 3/4 are the sizes. I guess the 5/8 will be fine on a narrow weave collar. I think I need to get another pack of each and try the 3/4 inch stuff out.

I just ordered Jax a custom leather collar from Diesel Dogwear on etsy. It looks like top notch stuff and the lady is really nice and has many options and collars not on the page. I'll post some pictures once it comes in.

Hey Mike - Any shipping to India possibly? I have a small martingale for Boone right now, as he's growing, but I will definitely need another one once he's "all growed up". And I LOVE your stuff!

Well I sent 2 to Moscow, but am still waiting for it to be delivered. I use USPS to send over seas because it would cost hundreds to use FedEx or UPS. To Moscow it was $25 US. King Cobra Collar is 30 with buckle. 25 without so plus shipping and 2.50 paypal fees. Let me know if you are still interested.

Mike.would this type of martingale work for my 18 wk pup? I'm thinking I would get a little more time outta the chain as opposedto the buckle type.

I have had several people buy this collar with and without buckles. Dogs with a smaller head can have a Martingale custom made so it is very snug and stays close to the neck this is an advantage so the dog can't back out of the collar easily. On dogs with larger heads like most mastiffs a slip on collar dangles loose on the dog and can be a hazard so a fitted one again can be a little snug and not be able to slip over the head but it's easy to release.

2 new ones I finished last night. 1 with and 1 without buckles.

This is for a Rhodesian Ridgeback

Hank I am buying some 3/4 inch buckles this coming week the ones in those collars ar 5/8 but those chains are the biggest I can find. I could go to the pet store and buy a collar with a heavier chain on it and cut it off and use it for a collar but will need to charge a little extra to offset the expense. I think these chains are strong enough for just about any dog. I was only concerned about the buckle but since Apollo didn't pop his off when the cat ran by I feel pretty safe now. Yes a red and black would look good. Solid red or a red with black checks in it like in that picture?

Here are some samples of color combos I put together to get you guys some ideas. When you flip them over the core color becomes the trim color and vise versa

Here are the colors I currently have, but I will be ordering some pink, and more reflective black, and maybe some others this weekend.

One advantage of the buckle is that as the dog grows you can send me the collar back and I can just add extra length to the short side for a $12 adjustment fee. You pay shipping 1 way I pay the other.
TB44 I would get the single cobra for a small or very young dog. Not as much weight to distract it.
Here are some examples. 2 single cobra no buckle and 1 king cobra with buckle
