Leashed dog to be put down for accidentally head butting a man that tried to pet her!

A broken nose is no joke but come on. The dog did nothing wrong and neither did the man who asked to pet her. His nose will heal, her life is precious.
Completely unnecessary and downright asinine. That city better snap out of it.

Hm. That owner needs to be dealt with for making up a story like that. She started a real sh** storm.
Thanks for the link Stephanie.

Because of her lack of judgement, we as responsible dog owners have to prove ourselves yet again.......

Yup, and that is why things like this make me mad

Any time something asking me to sign an online petition crops up I like to do a little research. And there is a little more to this story than the above link would indicate. Read the actual newspaper article (linked below) and make your decision based on that please.

Wow, guess I should have looked into it more... was he even trying to pet the dog or did she just jump up and bite him in the face as he walked by? It doesn't sound like he was even walking up to the dog, just walking by it. Obviously either way is terrible, I'm just wondering exactly how much she made up!

Im thinking owner responsibility needs to kick in somewhere or the dog is going to pay the price (shame on the owner)
