Life vest for EM

We took our 10mo. old EM to the lake this past weekend for the first time and he LOVED the water. He wouldn't get out and he became exhausted swimming, and could hardly keep his head above water. Both my husband and I thought he would drown, we had to go in after him and drag him to shore. He needs a life vest. Anyone know where I can get a good quality one for his size/wt. He weighs about 140lbs. Thanks

Thanks, they look good. I just ordered the ex large. He's only 10mo. old so I'm hopping it will continue to fit him next year.

Likw when my mum would buy my shoes one size to big saying "you'll grow in to them" haha

Ruger has had life jackets since he was a baby. I liked the kong life jackets but they run small but my favorite brand was Outward Hound that has a lot more room to grow and was overall the "toughest" of any I bought which was a big deal to me since Ruger was in the pool a couple times a day. Maryl, He has been through several since he started swimming so young. He just loves the water! The outward hound is the only brand that fit him now that he is over 200 pounds. The other extra larges aren't extra enough. Lol

Well Rhaegar's new life jacket just got here today. We're going to the beach for a week in August, and we'll have the beach on one side, the bay on the other, and some smaller bodies of water in between, so I thought a life jacket would be a good idea for him.....especially after seeing him sink like a rock one time when he fell in the lake, lol. He loves water, but he typically doesn't go in deep enough to actually swim. We got the Kyjen Outward Hound in XL. I liked the looks of the Ruffwear ones, but I'm too poor for one of those at the moment!

He is so handsome in his new best! I've bought every brand there is in the last few years and outward Hound was the most durable by far!!
